What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a collaborative 'doing' treatment, meaning we work together making changes, allowing you to make progress towards your individualised treatment goals.
CBT primarily looks at the way we think, behave, and feel, both emotionally and physically, and how these areas interact with each other and often leave us feeling stuck in a cycle we struggle to get out of. CBT helps break that cycle and get you feeling better!
How much are sessions?
I charge £85 per session, with a free 15 minute initial consultation. Sessions are paid for in advance and are typically carried out over secure video call and last around 50 minutes per session.
How can it help me?
CBT can help you to identify the patterns you are stuck within and break the cycle to work towards a more balanced you.
Am I suitable?
Do you do the same things and get the same results? Do you want to make changes? Then this is for you!
How many sessions do I need?
Length of treatment plans vary. We will go at your pace and review the work together as we progress.
What if I get overwhelmed in sessions?
Then we stop and regulate. We ground and help you feel safe.
When might CBT not be the right fit?
If there is significant alcohol or substance use, then CBT might not be beneficial. I am also not a crisis service.
